About InControl

20 Years of Building Websites. One Big Realization.

Lynn Coffey

Hi, I'm Lynn Coffey, the founder of InControl.

For more than 20 years, I've worked directly with local business owners, helping them establish their online presence and turn website visitors into potential customers.

Through all those years, my focus was never simply on making websites look attractive.

It was about building websites that earned trust, established credibility, and encouraged people to take action.

And while technology changed dramatically over those two decades, I kept noticing many of the same challenges.

A Great Website Was Only Part of the Answer

One of the biggest challenges for business owners was providing media.

Professional photographs were difficult enough. Videos were an even bigger obstacle.

Most small business owners don't have the time, equipment, confidence, or desire to record themselves presenting their services or explaining their offers.

And that was just the website side of things.

I also watched businesses work hard to attract visitors, only to lose opportunities after someone expressed interest.

Sometimes a lead wouldn't receive a follow-up. Sometimes they'd receive a generic automated response that felt completely impersonal. Other times, the business owner would reach out once and never follow up again.

Even when everything was being handled correctly, there was another problem.

Customer information, marketing activities, appointments, sales opportunities, and daily tasks were often spread across several different programs.

Business owners were paying for multiple tools without necessarily having a clear picture of what was working.

I began to realize that a better website alone wasn't going to solve these problems.

So I Built Something Different.

What started as an experiment with new video technology gradually became something much bigger.

I wanted to give business owners the ability to create professional, personalized video presentations without having to film every message themselves.

Then I started thinking about what happened when someone visited the website.

What if visitors could have a friendly conversation, get answers to their questions, request pricing, or book an appointment?

And what if those conversations connected directly to the business's customer records and sales process?

One idea led to another.

A contact management system became a sales pipeline. The pipeline connected to follow-up tasks. Those tasks became part of a daily dashboard. Marketing tools connected to analytics, so business owners could better understand where inquiries were coming from and what happened afterward.

Eventually, all those pieces came together.

That's how InControl was born.

From First Impression to Final Sale

Today, InControl connects the customer-facing side of a business with the tools needed to manage what happens behind the scenes.

It starts with a professional website deliberately structured to build trust.

Personalized video presenters help introduce the business and explain its services. A conversational digital receptionist can answer questions, collect inquiries, and help visitors schedule appointments.

When someone becomes a lead, their information can flow into the sales pipeline, where the owner can keep track of the opportunity and the next follow-up.

Meanwhile, InControl brings together contacts, appointments, tasks, goals, customer documents, marketing tools, and reporting.

It's designed to help business owners spend less time managing disconnected systems and more time doing what they do best.

But there's another part of InControl that's especially important to me.

You're Not Just Another Account Number.

For 20 years, my business has been built around personal relationships.

I've worked directly with my website customers, helped them solve problems, made changes when they needed them, and watched their businesses evolve.

Some of those relationships have lasted more than 15 years.

I don't want to lose that personal connection just because I'm now offering a much more comprehensive software platform.

That's why I'll personally set up InControl for your business.

You'll provide the information I need, and I'll build your website, prepare your initial video presentations, configure your digital receptionist, and set up the essential tools that connect everything.

You won't have to start from scratch or spend weeks trying to figure out a complicated system.

And when you need help, have a question, or want to suggest an improvement, you'll have direct access to me.

I built InControl, I continue to improve it, and I want to hear from the people using it.

Built for Real Business Owners

I know how much responsibility falls on the shoulders of someone running a small business.

You're responsible for attracting customers, delivering your services, answering inquiries, following up, managing your schedule, and making sure the business is moving in the right direction.

My goal with InControl isn't to replace the personal relationships that make small businesses special.

It's to give you a better way to manage them.

I want you to open your dashboard in the morning and understand what needs your attention.

I want you to know when a potential customer is waiting for a response.

I want you to have a clearer picture of which marketing efforts are generating opportunities.

And I want you to feel confident that your website is making a professional first impression, even when you're busy doing something else.

Most importantly, I want the technology to feel like it's working for you, rather than giving you another job to do.

That's what I'm building with InControl.

And I'd love to help you put it to work for your business.
